Your Own Log Cabin in Levi — Your Base for Lapland

Snow & Pine is a private log cabin in the forests of Levi, Finnish Lapland. Built in 2024, it sits on private land with its own entrance — no shared facilities, no shared access, no other guests. Whether you come as a family or a group of friends, the whole cabin is yours.

Think of it as your base camp for everything Finnish Lapland offers. Days on the slopes, husky sledding, reindeer farms, snowshoeing through silent forest — the village and ski bus are minutes away. And when you come back, the cabin is where the day carries on: warmth, food, games, and the hot tub under the trees.

Three bedrooms sleep six comfortably, with space for up to eight. Adventure out there, warmth and fun in here — the cabin is the centre of both.

02Amenities

Everything Your Crew Needs. And Rather More.

Outdoor Hot Tub

The heart of a log cabin with a hot tub in Levi: warm water, cold air, forest on every side. Children remember this bit. So do parents.

Finnish Sauna

Your own authentic Finnish sauna, right inside the cabin. Warm up after the slopes, or make it part of the evening routine.

Sleeps 6–8

Three bedrooms and two bathrooms — six sleep comfortably, with space for up to eight. Room for one family or a small group without anyone on a sofa.

Forest Location

A peaceful woodland setting where you wake to birdsong and the rustle of the trees. Quiet enough that children notice the silence.

Log Burner

The traditional log burner is the natural centrepiece of the cabin — for hot chocolate evenings, board games, and drying out after the snow.

Underfloor Heating

Warm feet, warm heart. Consistent warmth in every room, so small toes stay toasty even in an Arctic January.

Full Kitchen

A fully equipped kitchen for proper family meals — cook together, eat together, and keep fussy eaters fed without a restaurant in sight.

120" Projector

Family film nights on a giant 120-inch screen — streaming, sports or gaming, after a day out in the snow.

Table Football

A friendly tournament in the games area settles most arguments. Great fun for guests of all ages.

5G Wi-Fi

Fast internet throughout the cabin — for streaming, homework catch-ups, or a parent quietly checking in on work.

Washer & Dryer

Pack light and keep the snowsuits fresh. In-cabin laundry makes a week away with children far simpler.

Ski Bus at 100m

Public transport just 100 metres away — reach the slopes and Levi village without needing a car. Easy, even with little legs.

The Northern Lights over the forest in Levi, Finnish Lapland — green and red aurora curtains above silhouetted pines and a starry sky
Aurora Borealis · 68°N

Northern Lights,From Your Cabin Door

On active nights, watch from the living room, the terrace, or the hot tub — together, under an open Arctic sky.

Levi sits well above the Arctic Circle at 68°N — among the best aurora viewing locations in Europe, with a season that runs from late September through to March.

We’re honest about it: the Northern Lights can’t be guaranteed. They’re nature’s gift, not a performance. But Levi’s latitude, low light pollution and our open forest setting give your family the best realistic conditions available — and the cabin is warm and wonderful either way.

05Location

Levi, Finnish Lapland

Jutatie, Sirkka, 99130 Kittilä, Lapland. Closer than you might think.

Levi is the largest ski resort in Finland, set in Finnish Lapland in the far north of Europe. It’s a small, well-connected village with excellent skiing, family-friendly restaurants, and year-round activities — reindeer, huskies, snowshoeing and more — surrounded by Arctic forest and open sky.

Getting here with children is simpler than you’d expect. Kittilä Airport (KTT) is 16km from Snow & Pine — around 15 to 20 minutes by taxi or transfer. Direct flights operate from several UK airports, with connections from most major European cities. The cabin has private parking for two vehicles.

Snow & Pine sits in private forest on the edge of Levi — remote enough to feel genuinely away from it all, and close enough to reach the village in minutes.
